Our founders, Deena and Kevin Elliott, grew up in the Midwest and served proudly and honorably in the United States Navy before moving south in the early 1980s. In 1988, they moved to Kerrville, Texas, where they’ve lived since, raising two sons–graduates of Kerrville Tivy High School and the University of Texas at San Antonio–and being involved in private enterprise and public service throughout.
In 1999, at entirely too young an age, Deena suffered a heart attack; during her recovery, she began doing small stained glass pieces as a kind of self-care or therapy. It wasn’t long before Kevin joined in, first just helping her get her own pieces done, then in doing pieces of his own, and, more recently, in repairing broken art glass and restoring long-neglected pieces to radiant glory. For many years, they sold their work at local, regional, and state craft and cultural fairs, including the North Texas Irish Festival, and they helped to coordinate and manage other artisans’ events in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, earning a reputation for superior work and absolute integrity.
With years of experience in designing and repairing art glass, stained and clear, they bring passion, commitment, skill, and common sense to their work, ensuring the highest standards of quality in every piece they produce or restore and making sure that the work they do for their clients–and we hope you’ll become one!–will stand the test of time and keep their beauty for years to come!
